"I'm getting married!! June 22nd 2013!! And I'm so happy!! Thanks for all you do!:)" X. Taylor
Before reading your book, I had been married two times for a total of almost 22 years and have been divorced for 7 years. I had not even considered dating again because I did not have a road map or a sister/mentor to guide me; I was unwilling to take a risk of repeating my past relationship and marriage failures.
I wept as I read your book as I realized exactly WHAT mistakes I made that led to failure in all my romantic relationships AND what I could actively do, not only to avoid those pitfalls, but move ahead confidently. Just ONE bit of wisdom from your book turned the lights on! The pile of the nuggets of wisdom that filled the pages kept turning up the wattage!
"Aesha you are wise beyond your years. I hope women who want to learn about men and not just scratch the surface will grab a cup of coffee or tea and your book!"
"Thanks for all you are doing for single women like me. You are amazing!"
I am so blessed by you I could just cry cause I am so touched! Your life is so beautiful and you have NO Idea how God has used you in my life. Every-time you update your status I get it to come through to my phone. I never comment because I don't get the whole status and I want to make sure I've read the whole thing if I comment. BUT you inspire me!"

"I'm learning more and more each day about me and about life and dating (which by the way, used to be taboo). Don't know how we ever got to know anyone without it. Anyway, keep spreading your wisdom, we need it! I thank God for you! Even at 40+ I'm learning something from you! Thanks!"
"Hip-Hop and Rap paint such a negative image about our men and women, I am proud to see the positive direction you and RJ have taken to let the younger generation know that there are beautiful relationships amongst African American men and women. Love Auntie Kay (Texas Style)"
–A Kay Gossett Roberts
"I also realized how privileged I am to know such a genuine woman; one whose mission is to empower men and women who have a desire to build solid, loving relationships that are built upon the foundation of Christ Jesus and His Word. More than any time in history, with all the relationship “reality” dating shows, this society is crying out for truth about real love. This world is in desperate need of relationship repair! Coming from a broken home, I too had fears of marriage, but Aesha gave me a piece of advice that showed me that God wants to use me to break that curse in my family lineage."
Wow, it’s good to know that we can still remain positive and cherish what really matters no matter what life throws at us. Aesha, you’re such an inspiration.
Outstanding article today Aesha! You really help put in perspective the thing that causes us to hold back, fight, cheat, give up, etc. It may come in many forms, but it all boils down to resistance. Now that we recognize that it’s resistance that we’re fighting against we must do something to not allow resistance to overcome us. You’ve helped us in the first step of the overcoming process by identifying the problem. Resistance!! Thank you so much for what you are doing. Your helping many lives with your blogs and posts.
I completely relate to this blog post. Lots of times you don’t even see the emotional abuse coming. It does start with something as simple as your outfit or your hair. This was me over 10 years ago. I walked away from a situation that would have destroyed my life. God is so good. He told me I wasn’t going to get married. At first I was alarmed and thought something was going to happen. A few months later everything fell apart (PRAISE GOD!).
The best decision I ever made in my life was to give the ring back and walk away. I’ll I wanted was PEACE. That was the only closure I needed. This is why I’m patiently waiting for God to point the right man in my direction. I cannot wait for your book to come out.
You are a blessing to us all!
Very good advice Aesha...and very helpful! You are right, the "issues" of life can sometimes make you forget why you got married in the first place...lol!! And if one is not careful, it's easy to focus on the "shortcomings." Taking time to remember and focus on ALL of the good times is a wonderful experience and helps you put things back into perspective!! Very well stated!!
AESHA!! THANK U!! I just read the missing chapter and you blessed me! I have some area's to tighten up in and I just wanted you to know that this brought confirmation for me and I appreciate you using the gift God has given you. It is much needed for unmarried and married couples.
I pray you and your family receive everything you hope and pray for!
I have my book with YOUR signature and I'm Super Excited!!! Thanks sooo much for sharing your knowledge and wisdom! Happy holidays to you and yours. I'm Blessed!
I walked into Dr. Aesha Adams-Roberts’ classroom one type of woman and left it a totally transformed human being. Like most adults on campus, my life has had its share of ups and downs, positives and negatives. I was at a jumping off point in both my personal, work emotional, spiritual, and educational lives. Thank God I took Dr. Adams-Roberts’ class.
She is an extremely intelligent, open, honest, and caring individual. The way she teaches her class is just what my psyche needed. She allowed me to be my “real” self-the self that I’ve hidden from me for most of my life. I was able to deal with, admit to, and face numerous issues that I’d put on the back burner.
Because of Dr. Adams-Roberts, I’ve shed a number of layers and have been able to move forward in very positive and spiritual ways.
She is an example of what a mentor, coach, and fellow sister can get one student such as me to accomplish. I’ve thanked God numerous times for allowing her to help me find the authentic Diane.
I think you could become the next expert on love relationships. I love it!
Thanks for another sense of belonging!
I love your posts! They are always so inspiring :)
Aesha, I just started reading your book today! So far GREAT! I am finding out several new ways to look at myself and my situation! I'll keep you posted!

Aesha, I finally finished reading this book with tears in my eyes. WOW a lot of stuff hit home for me and revealed alot of truth that we as women sometimes want to ignore. Chapters 8-10 really registered with my heart TREMENDOUSLY. Thanks for your investment into my life. I appreciate you!
"This is the kind of info I would have loved to have when I was dating!"

"Girl, the Lord has given you an awesome gift! To God be the Glory!"
Thanks so much for such an awesome call Aesha! I'm so glad I'm getting this info now and not later. I wish every woman that I know could be open enough to hear, act, and follow through based on the information you're giving. So when is the live conference, TV show, etc?
Great call Aesha! I'd be interested if you did this periodically. You give great tips. I never expected I'd be on a call like this at this point in my life yet (since I was so anti-dating right now) LOL but I'm really enjoying it! Now I'm actually semi-considering being open to it SOON :-) Keep 'em coming! :-)
Aesha this was a phenomenal hour for me. The information you gave was extremely helpful, it reaffirmed some things I believed about men and it also shed light on areas where I can improvement (grow). I appreciate your willingness to help women grow into WONDERFUL wives; this type of teaching is needed. Yes, I would be interested in additional call sessions.
Aesha, I had so much fun. I read 'Created to be His helpmeet' last year (and cried while reading through so much). Similar in content, yet you asked me to look at my beliefs. I LOVED the homework, I loved the call, and I loved making connections with what you are saying and with where God has me right now. Thank you SO much for sharing your story and your heart, as well as for wanting to raise women up and to see men and women experience something beautiful and edifying. I want that. Additional call sessions would be great; many would benefit. ♥
ALL of my single friends MALE and FEMALE need to check out Aesha Adams-Roberts! She ROCKS THE HOUSE with dating tips and such! Wish I had her when I was single. Would have made dating much easier.
Thank you for the advice and the different points of view you provided. I enjoy writing to you my thoughts on your Facebook posts.”
Awesome call! I liked that you are transparent which makes people feel very comfortable in sharing their issues with you!
I also appreciate your openness about you and your husband's relationship. That, along with the other information you've shared, helps me and equips me as I move forward in my relationship.
I heard the call while I was driving and it was very informative. Thank you.
I really enjoyed the teleconference on 3/17. I gained valuable insight and new perspectives into the topic of sex before marriage. I like the way you candidly discussed your dating/social history. The overall environment of the discussion was very friendly and relaxed. I am looking forward to the next session.
Your call is awesome and makes people think and do the right things. Even though I am not that situation, it is a lesson for me to share your site to others so that theirs will be a better one too. Thank you Aesha!
